Jobs FAQ

What if the customer requests extra time during the rental?  Can I charge for the extra days?

Yes, if the customer requests extra time that extends past your standard rental period, simply select the Job and edit the invoice in Bookable.   Edit the invoice line item for extra time and change the quantity from ‘0’ to the appropriate quantity.  Save the invoice and select the “Pay” button at the top of the Job to charge the customer.  If the dumpster has already been delivered, the funds should land in your account in about 2 days.

What if the debris weight weighs in heavier than the included weight?  Can I charge for the extra weight?

Yes.  Select the Job in Bookable and edit the invoice.  We automatically add an “extra weight”  line item to every dumpster invoice.  The quantity of extra weight is set at  “0” to begin.  Update the quantity with the number of tons overweight you need to charge for.  Then save the invoice and select the “Pay” button at the top of the Job to charge the customer.

To reduce credit card disputes and chargebacks, it’s very important that the service pro communicates with the customer about the extra weight charge prior to charging the card.

Can I add additional charges during the rental for things like an overfilled dumpster, trip charge, or disallowed item?

Yes.  Select the Job in Bookable.  At the bottom of the invoice, select “Add Item” to add a new line item to the customer’s invoice.  Then save the invoice and select the “Pay” button at the top of the Job to charge the customer.
